Our Story
Q'HUBO began with a simple idea.
After years of enjoying and learning about Colombian culture and cuisine, I realised that many people in London had never experienced authentic Colombian street food.
Too often, Colombian food is grouped together with other cuisines or adapted so heavily that the original flavours are lost. I wanted to create something different.
As a long-time Portobello resident with Peruvian and Spanish roots, I wanted to introduce people to the genuine flavours, traditions and hospitality that make Colombian street food so special.
Q'HUBO is not about fusion food or shortcuts. It is about authenticity, community and sharing great food with great people.
Every arepa, empanada, batido and drink we serve is inspired by the flavours found throughout Colombia's streets, markets and homes.
